My Journey into 3D
This 2023 I took learning Blender seriously on my spare time to learn new skills. I documented my adventure with this project and I hope I get to post bigger and better projects.
YAY! I made my first cube.
Oh yeah, I started out with the donut thing as well.
Some low poly hand painted props for beginners like me.
A zombie cleaver if ever you get stuck in a zombie apocalypse.
How about a few game environments?
I created this low poly girl to get me into character modelling.
I thought I'd proceed to the next challenge. I tried making a mid poly character with Kirito of SAO.
My topology was a mess and I learned that I should be using quads instead of tris and ngons.
My second try. Well there was an improvement on the topology but I need the quads distributed right. Yeah the shape of the head was also off.
My third try and this seems good enough for my skill level.
I just wanted to model the head, but I don't know what got into me so I started modelling the whole body.
Hands need a lot of work though.
There the body is coming into the right form. I remodeled the hand and got rid of the tris.
Being naked seems innappropriate. Let's put some clothes on.
And there you have it! It's not at pro level yet but I'll get there somehow. I'm not afraid to suck at first. It's part of the journey.
Next, I'll get into some rigging and animation.
